Blue Star Museums Program

As a proud recipient of the 2025 Blue Star Museum Award, in partnership with National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, we are honored to support active-duty military families with seasonal free admission through the Blue Star Museums program.

Make a Day of It

Located in the historic stables where the Pony Express began its daring 1860 run from St. Joseph to Sacramento, the museum offers immersive exhibits, the Hall of Riders, hands on learning experiences, and a gift shop filled with frontier treasures.

History is not just something you read here. It is something you step into.

We look forward to welcoming you through our doors.
