To kick-off its 150th Anniversary celebration, the Pony Express National Museum is hosting a real Chuck Wagon Dinner on the first night of its 3-day Sesquicentennial. Thursday night's festivities are centered around the "Buffalo Bill Look-a-Like" contest on the Patee Park stage, directly across from the Museum at 914 Penn Street. All visitors will have a chance to work up an appetite by helping vote on their favorite contestants. The winning "Buffalo Bill" will appear in Friday's re-enactment with the D.A.R. as well as lead the Pony Express Parade on Saturday morning.

St. Joseph, MO. - Singing Cowboy-Poet Michael Martin Murphey, the top-selling singer-songwriter of American cowboy music, will perform in concert during as part of St. Joseph, Mo.'s Pony Express Sesquicentennial Celebration, Saturday, April 3 at the historic Missouri Theatre.
